Export Process
From inquiry to delivery, our streamlined export process ensures seamless international trade for wires and cables.
1

Inquiry Handling

Clients/Buyers will share the RFQs, BOQs, Drawings, and Project Details via website, email and phone.
Our team will review specifications, standards, if any country-specific and customer specific requirements.
Our technical and quotation team post review, will prepare quotations.
2

Order Confirmation

A detailed techno-commercial offer is issued covering cable types, sizes, construction, quantities, packing, delivery time and price.
Once prices, terms, and specifications are accepted, the client/buyer releases a purchase order, and Aglon sends a formal order acknowledgement with agreed terms.
Any project-specific conditions (approvals, stage inspections, special documents) are locked in at this stage to avoid later changes.
Once every process is finalized the technical team gets the datasheet approved by the concerned parties.
3

Payment Terms

Payment terms are mutually agreed during the quotation stage and confirmed at order placement (e.g., advance, L/C at sight, usance L/C, or other acceptable arrangements).
All banking details, LC wording (where applicable), and documentation conditions are communicated clearly to ensure smooth realization of export proceeds.
Pro forma invoices and commercial invoices are aligned with agreed terms to support buyer's internal and banking processes.
4

Processing & Production

The confirmed order is scheduled into Aglon's manufacturing plant.
Raw materials are issued from approved vendors, and production follows defined process parameters for conductor drawing, insulation, screening, armouring, and sheathing as per the final approved specifications.
In-process checks are carried out to monitor dimensions, electrical properties, and construction integrity throughout production.
5

Packaging & Quality Checks

Finished wires & cables undergo routine tests and inspections to verify electrical, mechanical, and physical performance as per relevant standards and internal quality plans.
Type test or special tests (if agreed) are carried out and documented for project or regulatory needs.
After QC clearance, wires & cables are wound on drums, reels, or coils and packed in seaworthy/airworthy, export-grade packaging to protect against moisture, impact, and rough handling during transit.
6

Logistics & Dispatch

In coordination with the client/buyer, suitable logistics are finalised: full container loads, LCL shipments, or air freight for urgent requirements.
Aglon works with trusted freight forwarders and customs agents to plan vehicle placement, container stuffing (if applicable), and movement to the port or airport.
Dispatch details (truck/vehicle number, stuffing photos where applicable, and ETD) are shared with the client/buyer for visibility.
7

Documentation Support

A complete set of export documents is prepared, typically including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, test certificates, and any special certificates or declarations agreed in the contract.
Soft copies are shared immediately after shipment, and physical originals are couriered or routed through banking channels as per the payment terms.
On request, Aglon can provide additional technical datasheets, drawings, declarations (such as RoHS/REACH-type statements where applicable), and letters required by consultants, authorities, or end users in the importing country.
8

Shipping & Delivery

Once customs clearance is completed, cargo is handed over to the carrier and shipped as per the booked vessel/flight schedule.
The buyer is informed of shipping details such as vessel name, voyage, port of loading, port of discharge, ETD, and ETA.
Tracking information and regular updates help the buyer plan for arrival, customs clearance at destination, and onward delivery to project site or warehouse.
